Founder and President

Teresita “Tere” M. Batista is the Founder and President of Employers One Source Group, Inc., “EOSG”, in Katy, Texas. She received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Houston in 1982 before eventually becoming a controller at a payroll service company in 1993. After her thirteen-year career as an accountant in oil & gas, public accounting, and consulting, she started her own business doing payroll outsourcing. She sold that business, and not being someone to do nothing, she founded EOSG, a Professional Employer Organization in 1998. With clients throughout the State of Texas and operations across the country, the company has grown year over year since its inception. EOSG is a certified Minority Business Enterprise, a Women Business Enterprise, a Texas Historically Underutilized Business, and recognized for its dedication to employee health and safety.

As an immigrant born in Cuba, Tere came to this country as a young girl believing in the American dream. She has mentored many small business owners, is a past member of the CEO Round Table, and an active member of Women of Success and Women Driving Business. She currently resides in Katy, Texas with her husband. She has three sons; the youngest is attending college, and the other two have advanced degrees in accounting and engineering.
