Lalohni (LA) Campbell is founder and president of Per Se Media Group, an integrated communications agency specializing in brand strategy, PR and reputation management. Based in Atlanta, Per Se currently leads awareness campaigns for a mix of clients ranging from technology and manufacturing companies to global law firms and public officials. Clients include Allied, Bronner Bros. Int’l, Colgate and the Atlanta Beltline, a $4.8 billion urban development initiative and the nation’s largest public-private partnership of its kind.
With a career that began in NYC at Essence Magazine, LA brings a keen understanding of both sides of the media landscape to her client’s business. She is a former news reporter for CBS radio’s #1 urban radio program in the US. Soon after, LA went on to earn her sea legs at top agencies like Ketchum Worldwide, MS&L and 22Squared, where she launched global initiatives for Fortune 500s such as Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Co., Procter & Gamble and UPS.
The consummate storyteller, LA has received numerous industry accolades, including kudos from Adweek, the National Association of Black Journalists and the Public Relations Society of America. This year, she topped 17 South Magazine’s “PR Powerhouse” List and received the “Pay It 4Ward” honor from BMW for her efforts bridging business with philanthropy.
LA is a graduate of Duke University, where she earned distinction as a US Junior Fellow at the Terry Sanford School of Public Policy. She is an inaugural member of Clark Atlanta University’s Executive MBA program and resides in midtown Atlanta with her husband and their dog, Maximus.
