Co-founder and Principal

Julio Rocha is Co-founder and Principal at Rocha Financial Group.  Julio started as an entrepreneur during his last year of high school in Ecuador, when he bought and resold apparel at his parent’s retail stores. His startup background includes ECUALINE, a janitorial service company, and AHCOR, a women’s shoes and accessories store. Julio then joined the financial industry in the year 2000 and began Rocha Financial in 2006. Rocha Financial Group has been an avid supporter of women-led businesses in Central Florida and 85% of its clientele are women, Hispanics and business owners.

An avid supporter of education, Julio has served on the Prospanica National Board of Directors since 2012. In 2015, he was appointed to the Orange County Public Schools Advisory Board, and he graduated from Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer’s City Academy.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Latin American Citizens Advisory Committee with the Orange County Sheriff Department. This year Julio was elected to the Board of Directors of Orlando Inc. (Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce).  He has received numerous honors and distinctions, such as the Young Entrepreneur Award from the Women’s Hispanic Chamber and the Distinguished Supporter Award from the Hispanic American Professional & Business Women’s Association.

Julio received a BA in Behavioral Science, an Advanced Management and Financial Planning Certificate from the University of Central Florida, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, with a concentration in entrepreneurship.

Although Julio is a familiar face at networking and community events in Central Florida, his time off is well invested enjoying life with his lovely wife and two young children.
